Volunteer programs

Our adoption fee ranges from $250 to $450 depending on the dog. Some dogs have sponsorships on them and we will let you know if the dog has sponsorship towards the adoption fee.  If you pay with credit card there is an additional 3% charge for processing. We also accept Zelle, cash or check with no additional charge.

We are an all volunteer non-profit and Friday and Saturday are the only days we are all free to have adoptions and to welcome the public to the farm. 

Donations can be dropped off anytime. There is a shed in the front of the property that will be unlocked during the day to have you put items inside out of the elements. If it is something that needs to be refrigerated or special handling please visit on our public adoption days.

The committee will review your application and they communicate via email for additional questions or a pre-approval. Just because you fill out an app does not mean you will get the animal you applied for. We do not hold dogs for anyone and we need to meet you as well as see how the chemistry is with the dog of interest. We may suggest another dog if it doesn't look like it will work out.  

We do suggest a meet a greet with any new family member. They will ultimately be the one who picks the right canidate. 

If you have an application filled out and you have gotten a pre-approval notice and everything works out with the meet then yes, as long as the dog is ready for a home. We do not adopt out any dog without being fixed first.
